Dittany Body Lotion

Dittany Body Lotion. Its enriched composition in nourishing ingredients tones and strengthens your skins ability to resist daily fatigue and tiredness.

In Greek alphabet, Dittany Body Lotion is referred as ”Dictamos”.  Dictamos, is a miraculous herb used in Crete, since the Minoan era.

The Minoans produced from this herb, perfumes and ointments they used for healing wounds and injuries. Furthermore, they prepared aromatic oils, mixing them with virgin crystal olive oil.

In turn, these aromatic oils, were offered to their gods their kings and priests as presents. They also used dictamos, to prepare aromatic wines such as Diktamniti. Diktamniti wine is famous since Dioskouridis mentions it in his fifth book of medicine. Also, the aromatic oils produced by the herb had arousing and stimulating properties when inhaled.

This small, lanate shrub is easily recognized by the following characteristics. It has a distinctive soft, woolly covering of white-grey hair on its stems. Furthermore it has round green leaves, giving it a velvety texture.

Tiny rose-pink flowers surrounded by brighter purple-pink bracts add an exuberant splash of color to the plant in summer and autumn.

Λοσιόν Σώματος από Δίκταμο

Η Λοσιόν είναι εμπλουτισμένη με θρεπτικά συστατικά που τονίζουν και τρέφουν το δέρμα σας για να αντιστέκεται στις καθημερινές κακουχίες.

Ο Δίκταμος – το θαυματουργό αυτό βότανο – είναι γνωστός από τη Μινωική εποχή όταν οι Μινωίτες παρασκεύαζαν από το βότανο αυτό – αρώματα, αλοιφές τις οποίες χρησιμοποιούσαν για την επούλωση τραυμάτων και πληγών, αρωματικά λάδια – ειδικά με λάδι ελαιόλαδου το οποίο και πρόσφεραν στους θεούς στους βασιλιάδες και ιερείς τους, αλλά και αρωματικούς οίνους όπως το Δικταμνίτη Οίνο που μας αναφέρει ο Διοσκουρίδης στο πέμπτο βιβλίο του περί ύλης ιατρικής. Τα αρωματικά λάδια που παρασκεύαζαν από το βότανο είχαν επίσης τονωτικές και διεγερτικές ιδιότητες.

Αυτός ο μικρός, εύκαμπτος θάμνος αναγνωρίζεται εύκολα από το χαρακτηριστικό μαλακό, μάλλινο κάλυμμα των λευκών γκρίζων τριχών στους μίσχους του και τα στρογγυλά πράσινα φύλλα, δίνοντάς του μια βελούδινη υφή.

Τα μικροσκοπικά ροζ λουλούδια που περιβάλλονται από φωτεινότερα μοβ-ροζ προσθέτουν μια έντονη εκτόξευση χρώματος κατά το καλοκαίρι και το φθινόπωρο.
